CO-PRESIDENT

Co-president Nikita Larson wants to positively affect her surrounding community by helping students and teachers. She founded the club with Anisha Kodwani in 2015 to give more opportunities to high-schoolers to make an impact on the community. Also, she loves to volunteer at Wayside Waifs, play tennis, and take her dog to the dog park.

Co-president Anisha Kodwani desires to strengthen our community by helping others. She believes that helping others’ education will help gain important life skills which will lead to great success. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, having fun, and doing yoga.

Junior Kaitlin Yu is vice-president of Students Assist Schools because she believes that education is the key to improving the world we live in, therefore helping in others' education would be taking a little step in the right direction. Outside of SAS, her hobbies include reading, sleeping, listening to music, and doing art.

SAS Treasurer Elaine Zhu wants to help students develop and provide them with the resources they need to do well in the future. She is also involved in Student Council, Model UN, Tennis, Scholar's Bowl, Science Knowledge Bowl, and multiple Honor Societies.

Secretary Lauren Scott loves participating in community service with local youth. She volunteers at her church as a Sunday school teacher; manages the Blue Valley football team; plays soccer; is a Tiger Mentor; a member of the National Math, Science, and Spanish Honor Societies; and involved with the BV Gay-Straight Alliance.
